These terms govern your use of SaathWala. You accept them when you tick each point of the agreement at registration. They work together with our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Refund Policy and, for companions, the Companion Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What this service is

SaathWala is a listing and introduction platform. We verify adults who are willing to accompany other adults to social occasions such as weddings, receptions, family functions, office parties, concerts, city tours and meals, and we let members find and contact them.

This is not a dating service, an escort service, or a matrimonial service. Companionship here means attending a social occasion together and nothing further. Offering, requesting, implying or paying for sexual services of any kind is strictly forbidden and ends the account immediately.

2. Who may use it

3. Identity verification

Members and companions submit an identity document, which our team reviews by hand, as set out in the Identity Verification Policy. Aadhaar is voluntary; we accept other government ID through support. A verified badge means we checked that the document appears genuine and matches the stated name and age. It is not a background check, a character reference or a criminal record check, and it is not a guarantee of anyone's conduct. Use your own judgement when meeting anyone.

4. Membership and what you are buying

Refunds and the reply guarantee are set out in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.

5. Our role, and what we are not responsible for

We introduce members to companions. We are not a party to any arrangement you make afterwards. We do not supervise, attend, chaperone or insure meetings. Any payment, plan or understanding between a member and a companion is strictly between those two people.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

6. Rules of conduct

The full rules are in our Community Guidelines. In particular, all of the following end your account immediately and without refund, and may be reported to the police:

Companions may decline any request for any reason. A declined request is not a service failure and is not refundable beyond the reply guarantee.

7. Safety

Read the Safety Guide before meeting anybody. The essentials:

8. Content you submit

You keep ownership of your photographs and profile text. You grant us a licence to display them inside the service for the purpose of running it. You confirm that you have the right to use every photograph you upload and that it shows you. We may remove any content that breaks these terms or the law.

9. Consent and your data

At registration you agree to each statement of the agreement separately. We store the exact wording, its version, the date and time and your IP address as a record. When the wording changes we ask you again before you continue. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account; we cannot run an account without it. How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.

10. Our role as an intermediary

We host content that members and companions provide. We do not create or endorse it. We follow the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021: we publish these rules, remove unlawful content when we become aware of it, and run the grievance process within the timelines those rules set.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, or where we are required to do so by law. You may close your account at any time from your account page. Closing an account does not refund an active membership except as set out in the refund policy.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the last change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be notified to your registered email or phone, and you will be asked to accept the new agreement before continuing.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
